Tomkinson Has a New Home in Ballarat

Tomkinson's
New Ballarat
Office

For years, we’ve worked alongside councils, developers, and communities all across Victoria. But there’s something different about having a front door in town. It’s not just about bricks and mortar—it’s about being closer to the conversations that matter.

That’s why we’re genuinely excited to announce that Tomkinson now has a home in Ballarat!

If you’re walking down Armstrong Street South, you’ll spot our new Tomkinson signage on the office frontage. And it just so happens, we’ve found ourselves on the ground floor of the Master Builders Association building at 40 Armstrong Street South. It’s a spot with history. It’s one of those classic Ballarat buildings that’s seen a lot of stories unfold over the years. Now, our story becomes part of that fabric.

We’ve always believed that being part of a community means showing up—rolling up your sleeves, listening, and getting to know the people and places that make a region tick. So, being located just around the corner from council chambers and state government offices is a nice feature. It makes it easier to pop in, share ideas, and respond quickly when things need doing.

Tomkinson's Ballarat Office

Our Ballarat team is led by Joe Seter, Senior Engineering. Joe’s a local through and through, with nearly two decades of experience in civil engineering and project management. He’s worked on everything from residential estates to community hubs and knows the ins and outs of getting things done in Ballarat and beyond.

We’re looking forward to deepening our connections here—building on the relationships we’ve already formed and making new ones along the way. Ballarat’s a city with a rich past and a bright future, and we’re proud to play a small part in its next chapter.

If you see our sign, give us a wave. We’re here for the long haul.
