El Jannah, Lebanese Charcoal Chicken
The Estephan family started El Jannah, Lebanese Charcoal and Chicken, as a small takeaway in Granville, Sydney in 1998. Bring it up to 2025, and El Jannah’s flagship Swanston Street Melbourne restaurant is the latest of our collaborations with Zone Design.

El Jannah is a well-established and highly regarded Lebanese style Charcoal Chicken restaurant chain selling chicken, burgers, wraps, salads, platters and accompaniments available for consumption on and off the premises across Sydney and now Melbourne. We have worked with Zone Design since 2021, achieving planning approvals to open 12 El Jannah convenience restaurants around the Melbourne Metro area. Additional stores are planned for the Melbourne and regional Victoria into the future.
Most recently El Jannah debuted at the Australian Open, with some clear wins across the tik tok best eats recommendations.
